ABOUT ME

Games as a Career

Following my interest for programming, mathematics, and game design out of high school, I underwent an accelerated 2 year bachelor in Games Development (Games Programming) at the SAE Institute in Sydney. In this time, I engaged in the production of multiple games in both the Unity and Unreal Engines, both as team member and a team leader, as well as solo projects.

After graduation, I moved to Finland and completed my mandatory conscription in the Finnish Defence Forces, as required due to my duel citizenship. Here, I further developed abilities in both team work and independence, along with motivation, routine, and discipline. During my spare time, I engaged in private creative projects, namely board game, card game, and TTRPG game design.

Returning to Australia after the year, I was hired at BridgeClimb Sydney. I enjoy my role as a Climb Leader, taking groups of 14 people up and down the iconic bridge for up to 12 hours of the day. I still engage in personal creative projects focused on game design, but I have now put my focus onto return to the field professionally.

Game design and programming especially has always been of keen interest for me throughout all stages of my life. I am interested in an array of elements involved in the field. Whether it be the creative process of creating a game design document, the problem-solving that comes with programming, level design, music, or QA testing, I am always engaged and driven to make the best product possible.

On this site many of my university projects are featured, which have been a mix of Unity, Unreal, solo and team projects, single player and online, across many genres. I am looking to re-immerse myself in a team to create something new and meaningful, and have an outlet for my creativity and skillset.
